I am currently in my final year of my Ph.D. in Counselling Psychology at McGill University. I previously completing an M.A. in Counselling Psychology at McGill University and a B.A. in Honour’s Psychology from Concordia University. My thesis research focuses on the quality and development of practice guidelines according to best practices as well as guideline use among professionals. I completed my doctoral clinical internship at the Sex and Couple Therapy Service and the Anxiety and Mood Disorders Program – Cognitive Behavioural Therapy Service at the McGill University Health Centre (MUHC).
I am currently working at Psychologia Clinic under the supervision of Dr. Dennis Kalogeropoulos. I am an integrative therapist, utilizing a variety of therapeutic approaches that are tailored to the needs of each client. I mainly use the following therapeutic approaches: Cognitive-Behavioural, Acceptance and Commitment, Dialectical Behavioural and Schema-Focused Therapies. I also use a collaborative, empathetic and transparent approach with clients, while aiming to create and maintain a strong therapeutic relationship.
I have experience working with diverse problems. These include relationship difficulties, sexual-related issues and dysfunction, pain, anxiety, mood and personality disorders as well as identity issues, stress, life changes and career-related issues, burnout, insomnia, self-esteem, grief, trauma and substance abuse. I provide individual and couple therapy. I also work in English, French or Greek.
