Our Story

History

Psychologia Clinic was established in 2007 by Dr. Dennis Kalogeropoulos, a clinical psychologist and psychotherapist practicing in the Montreal area for over 35 years.

In addition to his strong commitment and passion for clinical work

Dr. Kalogeropoulos has been actively involved in training senior doctoral candidates for over three decades. He has trained over 100 psychologists and continues to train and mentor new psychologists today along with his colleagues Julie Larouche M.Ps., and Dr. Alina Kao.

Over the past several years, the team of professionals at Psychologia Clinic grew as Dr. Kalogeropoulos continued to draw from the pool of students he had trained. Chosen team members were always amongst the most highly skilled therapists, the most conscientious, and most passionate about helping people overcome psychological challenges.

Today’s team at Psychologia Clinic is thus comprised of a carefully selected group of therapists that were thoroughly trained to treat a wide variety of psychological problems and who remain extremely committed to offering the highest quality of care to all.

Mission

At Psychologia Clinic we offer high-quality assessment and psychotherapy services to adolescents, adults, couples and families presenting with a variety of psychosocial problems or life-adjustment difficulties.

We provide multilingual, clinical services in a caring and supportive environment that are tailor-made to meet the specific needs of each individual, couple or family.

Our therapists utilize evidence-based treatments to facilitate more successful therapy outcomes.

We render psychological services accessible to a larger segment of the population by offering fees on a sliding scale. Individuals on limited incomes who opt to consult a senior doctoral candidate can benefit from a reduced fee.

Our team offers intensive, one-to-one clinical training and supervision for pre- and post-doctoral candidates as well as mental health professionals seeking to expand their skill sets in specific clinical areas.

Finally, we provide psychoeducational programs on a variety of psychosocial issues to community organizations and private industry through lectures, workshops and on-site consultations.
