My initial doctoral training in cognitive behavioural therapy has deepened by discovering a home within the ACT model (Acceptance & Commitment Therapy). Through this practice, we learn to open up a more adaptive space for difficult thoughts and feelings in order to intentionally move, with small steps, toward our core values. Instead of letting the ego blindly lead us into a vicious cycle of conditioned patterns, it’s thus a question of pivoting toward the compass of our fundamental values - toward what matters most to us - and committing to the actions that serve them.
Mindfulness, resilience, innate wisdom, self-compassion, and responsibility in respect to the call for change are at the heart of my clinical approach. I aim to create a safe, authentic, and individualized therapeutic climate so as to guide my clients toward healing, change, and living with purpose.
Looking forward to accompanying you in your life chapter!
