I believe that the process of change can only take place when a client is treated with empathy, respect, and understanding, the starting point of effective therapy. This is my focus in every interaction. I also always strive to define central challenges to inform pathways towards desired change. My framework is integrative. It combines humanistic therapy, emotion-focused therapy (EFT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT). I adapt my approach to each person while staying true to these elements.

I work with adults of all ages with a variety of difficulties. This includes:

  • Anxiety and stress management

  • Depression and mood disorders

  • Emotion dysregulation

  • Low self-esteem

  • Trauma

  • Grief

  • Burn out

  • Anger management

  • Self-harm

  • Lack of self-assertiveness

  • Interpersonal and relationship issues

  • Obsessive-compulsive disorder and related disorders

Qualifications and Training:

I completed a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology at Université de Montréal. My internship was at the McGill University Health Center in the Module for Evaluation and Liaison with Dr. Molly Moroz focusing on emotion regulation and with Dr. Debbie Sookman in the Anxiety Program, specifically in Obsessive Compulsive and Related Disorders.

In 2015, I obtained a Masters (M.A.) in Counselling Psychology at McGill University. For my practicum, I provided psychotherapy to adults with anxiety, depression, self-esteem issues, anger management problems, trauma, and burnout.

In 2012, I completed a B.A. with a major in Psychology and a minor in English Literature from McGill University, graduating with distinction.

Research and Publications:

My thesis and its related publications focus on kidney transplant recipients’ psychosocial adjustment throughout the transplantation process. I have always had a passion for health psychology, which has led to numerous other publications and research projects in this domain throughout my M.A. and B.A.
